Georginio Wijnaldum admit Liverpool have squad that can compete for titles next season
The Liverpool midfielder on his interview at the Ritz-carlton hotel in Hong Kong ahead of
Liverpool participation in the Premier League Asia Trophy this summer was asked if he's
confident that the problem the club faced last season won't return this season.
" I won't say that we can immediately win the title says Wijnaldum, but I think we have a
squad who can compete for the title. I'm confident that we will not make the same mistakes like last season, but that's my feeling. You do it as a team and not as an individual.
"We must make sure with each other that we don't make the same mistakes that we made last season. We must read the games better. What do you need to win? You don't always have to win beautiful. I think Chelsea are a good example. Last season they were the best team. They knew what they had to do. That's what we needed to do. We must make sure we learn from the past and do it this season.
