Daniel Sturridge is not leaving the club insist Klopp

Wantaway Daniel Sturridge told he's going nowhere by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he expects the England star to be unhappy at a lack of game time, having started just four matches all season.

But Klopp insisted he can’t allow any of his squad to leave Anfield with such a heavy programme...and he suggested there is absolutely no room for sulking. “The situation with the player is completely ok,” the German coach explained.

“I can imagine actually that a player with these qualities is not happy he is not starting all the time. I really can imagine that. But that’s all.

“At the moment we need all our players. So we have November, and even if he feels a little different, there is a month and a half to go until any window opens and until then I don’t think a second about things like this.

“We have so many games to go until then and we need all of them, and that’s what we show them.”

Sturridge is unhappy at his lack of playing time, and he will desperately be hoping for a start in Seville, with Liverpool looking for the victory that can guarantee progress into the knock out phase of the Champions’ League.
