Chelsea’s board have held a meeting to discuss the signing of Liverpool target 'Leon Bailey' from Bayer Leverkusen
The 20-year-old has been in impressive form for the Bundesliga club this season with four goals and four assists in 12 appearances so far.
The Jamaican winger has also attracted interest from Barcelona while Manchester United were also linked earlier this year.
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea sent scouts to watch Bailey in Leverkusen’s 2-0 victory over Stuttgart on Friday.
The report also claims that on the same day, Chelsea’s hierarchy got together to discuss the prospect of signing Bailey in the upcoming transfer window in January with an option of loaning him back to Leverkusen for the remainder of the campaign.
