The Liverpool forward has scored a brace in Saturday game against Leicester City summing a total of 23 goals in all competitions.

The Egyptian became the first Liverpool play to have banged such amount of goals before in a season before January 1st since the history of the club

But the Kop new trend will be ruled out for two weeks after sustaining a knee injury in Saturday's match versus Leicester City.

Mohamed Salah who is set to miss New Year away fixture with Burnley will travel along with team mate Sadio Mane for the Confederation of African Football Award in Ghana on Thursday night.

The trip implies that both Sadio Mane and Salah could miss FA cup third-round showdown against derby rival Everton which takes place the following night.
