Former Liverpool foward Dirk Kuyt celebrates with Van Dijk on debut goal

There were plaudits aplenty for Virgil van Dijk after the centre-back celebrated his debut with the winning goal in Liverpool's FA Cup clash with Everton

Virgil Van Dijk helped Liverpool secured a win on his debut against the Toffees converting Oxlade-Chamberlain corner kick to a goal with just six minute left to the end of the game

Both Team mates and ex veteran Liverpool forward took to social media to salute Virgil  for a job well done on his debut

The Dutch defender joined Liverpool from English club Southampton this January on a lucrative and record transfer fee which has been argued to be too much for him.
