Loris Karius near loan move to Besiktas

According to reports Liverpool are ready to allow the German goalkeeper leave Anfield

Liverpool will listen to offers for Karius, whose future at Anfield looks uncertain after the arrival of Alisson in a then world record deal this summer.

Talks are ongoing and Besiktas are interested in a loan deal that could lead to a permanent move for the Germany U21 international.

And if he leaves, then Klopp will refuse to sanction a move for Simon Mignolet, with the Reds boss ready to keep one of his keepers to act as a number two to Alisson.

The Liverpool manager had hoped to rehabilitate Karius this season after learning he suffered concussion in the Champions’ League final.

But he looked haunted on his return to action in pre-season, and that led to the £66m move for Brazil number one Alisson.

With a deal falling through to sell Mignolet to Napoli and the Italian window now closed, Klopp will instead listen to the Turkish club’s approach for Karius, and allow him to leave if the deal suits Liverpool.
