The attack on the pair occurred in a restaurant in Moss Side area of Manchester.

It was gathered that Dane 26, and Tyler Alexander-Arnold sustained minor injuries by the attack which bursted at the early hours of Sunday while they were eating at The Little Rock restaurant in Manchester.

A police source has told the Daily Mail that Dane had his watch stolen while Tyler's wallet and Range Rover was taken after the Bandits demanded the keys.

The police said both Dane and Tyler were attacked along with a third friend by a gang who were armed with a shotgun, machete and baseball bat.

However, four suspects have been arrested - four men aged 18,19, 23, 58, and two other 17-year-olds are currently being examined.

Superintendent Mark Dexter of Greater Manchester police said: "Thankfully no one was seriously injured but the victims have been left understandably shaken following this incident.

"It is thanks to the swift action of our officers that we now have six men in custody but this investigation is still very much ongoing and officers will be in the area today continuing with inquiries.

"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened or anyone with dashcam footage of the BMW or Range Rover around the time of the incident."
