Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League table with five points clear from defending champions Manchester City.

The Reds have had a smooth run in the Premier League this season, recording only one defeat in 24 games.

But they face a tough challenge from league champions Manchester City who are currently second with four defeats so far and five points clear from the top.

Sane who scored a 72nd minute winner against Liverpool in their PL clash earlier this month has said his side Manchester City are relishing their title tussle with their counterpart and will fight them all the way to the finish line.

"I think it's kind of more enjoyable because it motivates you to say we want to be first," said Sane.

"We can put pressure on them and it makes you want to work harder.

"Liverpool have a lot of players with a lot of experience. Even last season, they reached the Champions League final, so they know how to do it.

"We all know what we did last season, we're still doing it this season and we all know exactly what we have to do and that's the important thing."
