Liverpool have been dealt a blow over a potential loan move for James Tarkowski as Burnley are demanding a huge £50million fee for the defender.
The Reds are reportedly considering a loan move for the England center-back which would see him stay at Anfield until the end of the season.
According to The Sun Liverpool have opted for the 26-year-old as a solution to strengthen their backline which has been weakened following injuries sustained by some senior defenders.
But Burnley are demanding a permanent deal and won't listen to any offers unless it meets the £50million value tagged on the player.
