Liverpool are thirty times a better team than rivals Manchester United in new ranking unveiled by sport statistics website

Analytic website FiveThirtyEight have released a table ranking of football clubs based on ability and performance, and it doesn't seems a pleasant one for Manchester United fans.
The website produced a Soccer Power Index (SPI) which provides teams with an offensive and defensive rating, then combine the two together to give an average score and rank how likely the team would be to win against an average team on a neutral field.
Manchester City and Liverpool , were in the top three, with City coming out on top and Liverpool third, with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in between them.
Meanwhile, local rivals Manchester United were ranked in an embarrassing 34th position, which fell behind Spanish minnows Leganes and Eibar as well as Greek side PAOK, Germany's Hoffenheim and Young Boys of Switzerland.
The table highlights an alarming fall from grace for United, who were unable to qualify for next season's Champions League after a disastrous end to the 2018-2019 season which saw them fail to win any of their last five Premier League games, a run which meant they finished in sixth place.
