Alan Stubbs forbid Liverpool winning Premier League title at Goodison Park

Former Everton star Alan Stubbs has said Liverpool winning Premier League at Goodison 'could be toxic'

The Reds are eyeing a first Premier League title in 30 years and they seemingly on the verge to make it happen with just six consecutive wins.

Jurgen Klopp's men are yet to lose a Premier League match this season, and they have contenders Manchester City fluctuating at second position in a whopping 22 points difference.

Manchester City oscillating the standings could mean the Reds winning the title in March when they face Everton at Goodison Park.

But Stubbs who had played for the Toffees from 2001-2005 has said on the Ladbrokes Social Club he is desperate Liverpool doesn't win at Goodison due to the heavy rivalry between the Merseyside brothers.

"I hope it doesn't come to that", said Stubbs.

[That's] because I think it could be toxic, the atmosphere and I think from that point of view, I don't want them to do it.

"I don't want them to do it any way, but Liverpool have been brilliant this season and they are going to be worthy winners."
