Andrew Robertson admit he could quit Liverpool to join home club

Andy Robertson has revealed that he is open to the idea of joining Celtic in the future

Roberson has established himself as one of Liverpool's most important players since joining Anfield outfit from Hull City in 2017.

The 25-year-old who has made a total of 41 appearances for  the Reds so far this season has said he's determined to stay a long time at Anfield - but revealed he still has much love for his boydhood club Celtic and could return home to hang his boot someday.


Speaking on That Peter Crouch Podcast the Scotland international said: "If you asked me now what would I want to do, I'd want to retire at Liverpool of course.

"But look, we know how hard it is to play at the highest of levels til 35, 36 maybe.

"I'd love to pull on a Celtic top and walk out at Parkhead and stuff. You try and move with the times and do what's right for your family.

"Do I want to go back there even to just live? Yeah, maybe."
