The result at Stamford Bridge in the clash between Chelsea and Man City ensured Liverpool can no longer be caught in the title race.



It became the Reds 19th England League title won after thirty years of setbacks.


But that's will now be one portion of the Reds story to talk about in their glorious night as Fans of the Merseyside club are shipping out in large numbers to Anfield to celebrate the title triumph despite the current lockdown imposed in the country in the face of the coronavirus virus pandemic.


Fans were asked to stay at home and away from Anfield amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis to prevent unnecessary crowding.

Some supporters had gathered at the stadium to watch Man City’s match with Chelsea unfold on a mobile phone.

And soon after full-time, they were joined by hundreds of others for jubilant scenes outside the Reds' home ground.

Fireworks went off outside Anfield while the unstoppable fans waved flags and sang: "We've gone and won the league."
