Former Liverpool star 'not interested' in Anfield reunion amid Van Dijk's injury

27-year-old Conor Coady who left Anfield in 2014 has been thriving for Wolverhampton and Jamie Carragher has jokingly said he could replace Virgil van Dijk

Conor Coady tells Jamie Carragher he's happy at Wolverhampton.

Liverpool legend and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher who is friend with Coady, earlier this month joked with the former Liverpool defender that Reds boss
Jurgen Klopp has named him as a player he was targeting to replace Van Dijk in January.

"You won't be aware but Jurgen Klopp tonight has done his Champions League press conference ahead of the game with Ajax," Carragher said.

"He's actually mentioned you and two other players who he thinks could actually be replacements for Virgil van Dijk, would that come into your thinking?"

In response to Carragher, speaking after Wolves' 3-0 win against Leeds , Coady said: "I can't believe you have just put this to me here! No, not at all.

"I love playing for this club, we've just beat Leeds in an amazing, amazing game. You know what I am like."
