Larpote delivered his message to Virgil van Dijk following the Liverpool defender's own statement released on Sunday
Virgil van Dijk was lined up for a surgery on Sunday evening following a scan on his knee injury that revealed he damaged his anterior cruciate ligament.
Larpote had similar issues last term which ruled him out for six months and arguably turned out the cause why City conceded defeat in their title defence.
The City centre-half however is not relishing the setback done to the Reds in losing Van Dijk , he wished the Dutch defence ace a speedy recovery instead.
“Sorry bro. Best of luck for the quick recovery, never neither fun nor rejoicing even as [ title ] rivals,” Laporte wrote on Twitter.
Van Dijk's own message released also on Twitter, revealed the headway of his therapy.
