Virgil van Dijk has sends positive message about his return from injury
The Dutchman centre-half is "looking forward" to seeing Liverpool fans in 2021.
Van Dijk, currently undergoing rehabilitation following a serious knee injury suffered against Everton back in October, has been training out in Dubai with former Dutch international and AC Milan legend Clarence Seedorf this week.
And today the world-class centre-back posted two messages to Reds fans on Twitter.
The first read: "Happy New Year to all of you, hope all your dreams and New Year’s resolutions come true in 2021.
"Let’s bring more love, peace, and happiness in the world. Treat people the way you want to be treated, see you soon!"
And the second, which was posted along with a video filmed by the ECHO of Van Dijk at Anfield, said: "Looking forward to seeing all of you reds in 2021..."
