Jota made his long-awaited return to first-team training this week as he steps up his recovery from a knee injury

The former Wolves forward had missed more than two months with a knee injury.

While this weekend's match against Sheffield United may come too soon for the 24-year-old, he could be in line to feature in a crucial top-four clash against Chelsea.

Jota had scored nine goals in 17 games before going sidelines, and Jurgen Klopp is excited about welcoming the summer signing back into the fold.

"It's positive. Diogo is back after a long time," Klopp said in his pre-match press conference on Friday. "The way he came back in training is very positive so we just have to make a decision over what makes sense for him. You have to focus on training and you have to enjoy it."
