Liverpool fans have been quick to spot a significant change on the Premier League’s official website on Tuesday morning.

The site lists each club’s home stadium - but the Reds’ have seemingly had Anfield swapped out for the Puskas Arena.

Reds supporters have not only been quick to notice the change, but some joked their side should play at the Puskas Arena until the end of the season due to their poor form at Anfield.

Liverpool of course played their last-16 Champions League tie against RB Leipzig at the venue in Hungary where they won 4-0 in aggregate earlier this month. The first-leg of the tie was moved to Hungary due to coronavirus restrictions placed by German officials.

Speaking after Liverpool’s first game at the Puskas Arena earlier this month, Jurgen Klopp praised both the city of Budapest and the facilities inside the stadium.

He said: "Brilliant, really brilliant, it's a great stadium. Inside, it looks a little bit like the Atletico Madrid stadium, which felt good for us, to be honest. It's a great stadium, the pitch was great.

"I'm pretty sure it's a proper football stadium so if this one is sold out in the future that will create some atmosphere.Thank you very much, Budapest, for having us. We don't take things like this for granted in these times.

"We did everything we could do to keep everybody as safe as possible and I'm pretty sure that worked out. So, thank you. It was really great. If we would have lost the game, the stadium was still great. No excuses!"
