Harry Kane to Liverpool stirred up

Former Liverpool captain Jamie Redknapp has suggested Liverpool could move for Harry Kane this summer

Liverpool are linked with a number of names this summer in their quest to land a new centre-forward to bolster their firepower next season.

Last summer signing Diogo Jota has been impressive for the Reds leaping Roberto Firmino in number of goals and in fewer appearances so far this season.

Firmino's woes in front of goal in recent months have come on the scene alarming,  with the Brazilian even benched against Real Madrid on Tuesday night in favour of the in-form Diogo Jota.

Speaking on Sky Sports' Pitch to Post Podcast , Redknapp believes England captain Harry Kane could be Klopp's answer to foster a goal-laden campaign next season.

The former Liverpool skipper said: "Harry Kane maybe might be a player who is on their radar, who knows how Liverpool might address it."
