Barcelona are reportedly considering re-signing Thiago as new manager of the La Liga side, Xavi, looks to stamp his authority on the team.
Xavi played alongside Thiago between 2009 and 2013 and is now setting his sights on a potential reunion, according to Portuguese journalist Pedro Almeida.
Thiago is said to be 'very appreciated' by the Barcelona boss, who has a huge task on his hands to steady the ship at Camp Nou.
It is claimed that the Barcelona manager has likely already begun discussions with president Joan Laporta regarding the prospect of purchasing the Reds' midfielder, who has three years remaining on his current deal.
