Liverpool reach personal terms as €80m is demanded

Liverpool have reportedly agreed a contract term with Luis Diaz and await Porto decision

The Reds have reportedly told Diaz's agent Carlos Van Strahalen they'll meet his client demands of a pay at Anfield that'll put him at £60k weekly, double of what he earns at Porto.

Diaz has frequently been linked with  a move to Liverpool as he continues to impress for Porto.

Portuguese outlet Jornal de Notícias earlier stated that Porto would demand a fee close to €80 million, the release clause of the Colombian forward if they are to receive an approach in January.

With Liverpool losing both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in January to their national sides, reinforcements may be needed in the Reds attack.

Diaz, 24, has 11 goals so far this season and was the joint top scorer in the Copa America with Colombia.
