Salzburg president says Liverpool target will make move

Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for RB Salzburg forward Karim Adeyemi


The Salzburg club president Harald Lurzerg has revealed that he expects the German-born Nigerian to leave next summer.

Adeyemi has emerged as a rumoured transfer target for Liverpool, with some reports suggesting
Jurgen Klopp's side have been monitoring his progress since 2018.

The 19-year-old has been in fine form since the beginning of the campaign, scoring 15 times and claiming two assists in 23 games in all competitions so far this season.

His impressive displays have led to increased talk of a move, with the Reds , Barcelona and Bayern Munich all being talked about as possible destinations.

And Lurzerg has effectively confirmed that the youngster will be allowed to leave the club in next summer's transfer window.

"We are aware that Karim will probably take the next step next summer," he told Bild podcast Bayern Insider .
