Man City contact Mo Salah's agent

Manchester City have reportedly contacted the agent of Mohamed Salah for a possible transfer in the summer

The Citizens have been linked with a move for the Liverpool forward amid his contract drag with the Reds.

Salah's Liverpool contract ends next summer and the 29-year-old has refused to commit himself to new terms, with the Guardian reporting last week that fresh talks between both parties have broken down.

There have been claims that Liverpool would demand up to a £100m for Salah this summer, making it clear the Merseyside club are ready to welcome offers for the Egyptian.

Now according to a close source to the player's agent Rama Abbas Issa, phone has been ringing over the week with Premier League rival Man City among the number of clubs negotiating contract terms for the agent's client.

The insider also disclosed that City have discussed the best offer (undisclosed) with Abbas and that put them more of the £500k weekly wage already reported to have been tabled down by Real Madrid.
