Thiago Alcantara has expressed excitement in the lots of important fixtures his Liverpool side have to come up against next month, April
The upcoming April fixtures features eight crucial matches across three competitions as the Reds resume their bid to add the Premier League, Champions League and Emirates FA Cup trophies to the Carabao Cup they won in February.
The Reds will lock horns with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side twice, in a Premier League match deemed to be the title decider and in the FA Cup semi-finals.
The Merseysiders also have Benfica to play twice in the Champions League quarter-finals, while Manchester United, Aston Villa and relegation threatened Watford, Everton and Newcastle United also make the list of fixtures for the month.
"The other day I was talking with some friends about it and I never had, in the years that I have been involved in football, I never had a month so exciting like this with such important and exciting matches every three days. So it will be amazing," Thiago told Liverpoolfc.com.
"Well, it's not the most exciting month of my career [but] for sure it is exciting because you are competing against the best, in the best competitions as well, but also because it reminds you that we are in finals.
"It looks like a World Cup, a European Cup, where every game is a final. With that we are in a one-mission mood and we are there."
