Liverpool have sealed a 2-0 victory over LaLiga side Villarreal in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals
The Reds produced a powerful performance to defeat the Yellow Submarines , scoring two goals in the space of two minutes in the early stages of the second half.
A Jordan Henderson cross deflected in off Pervis Estupinan and a poacher's finish from Sadio Mane guided the Reds to a home victory.
Fabinho and Andy Robertson also saw goals ruled out for offside during the face-off.
They will now take a commanding two-goal lead to Spain next week hoping to reach a third Champions League final in five years.
