A flashy video was released to mark the unveiling, with a fresh style of name and number on the back. On the front, Main shirt sponsor and British bank Standard Chartered boast a place, while sleeve sponsor Expedia find room. This will, however, be the club's final year with Standard Chartered, as it has been claimed that Liverpool are in talks for a record-breaking new sponsor .
The new jersey marks Liverpool's third year with their kit manufacturers.
The Anfield club will certainly be hoping to add gold Premier League winners' badges to the shirt after already bagging the League Cup this year and reaching the FA Cup final against Chelsea . A FIFA Club World Cup emblem could also come if Jurgen Klopp 's side are victorious in their Champions League final clash with Real Madrid on Saturday, May 28 at the Stade de France.
