Nottingham Forest and Southampton now frontrunners to sign Liverpool's Neco Williams according to reports
The Daily Mail have claimed that the Londoners have turned their attentions away from Williams who Welshman spent half of last season on loan at the Craven Cottage.
The reports says the Cottagers have identified Wolfsburg full-back Kevin Mbabu as a bargain target amid Liverpool's £15m asking price for Williams.
Newly promoted Nottingham Forest remain in the race for Williams' signature but may face competition from Southampton who have already contacted the Reds over the player's future.
