Ben Davies is left out of Liverpool's pre-season squad as he's attracting interest from Championship clubs according to reports

Liverpool's Ben Davies is the subject of interest from Championship clubs Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City according to Sky Sports.

The Reds may be considering the player's sale as he was excluded from their squad travelling for the pre-season.

Davies, an emergency signing by Jurgen Klopp during the 2020/21 season, has never made a first team appearance for the club and spent last season on loan with Sheffield United, making 22 appearances and helping the Blades to reach the Championship play-offs.

The English centre-back has three years left on his Liverpool contract but has been left out of the Far East tour, which indicates he could be about to make a move back to the Championship, where he was originally acquired by Klopp from Preston North End.
