Lille president confirms Renato Sanches will leave club and the player's destination

Lille midfielder Renato Sanches will leave the club this summer according to the club's president, Oliver Letang

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, Letang confirmed that the Portuguese midfielder, who has been linked with a move to Anfield in recent years, will leave the club this summer.

"Renato has two good opportunities, there are two top clubs on him," Letang said. "He is still with us because there is no agreement with the clubs yet.

"I can say that Renato Sanches will leave, but I don’t know which club he’ll choose. He’ll go to Paris or Milan. That’s all I can say."

Sanches has already featured in the Premier League, having joined Swansea City on a season-long loan for the 2017-18 season.
