Journalist Fabrizio Romano has added fuel to the speculation surrounding the transfer of Jude Bellingham to Liverpool in his latest YouTube update
According to the renowned journalist, Liverpool contacted Borussia Dortmund weeks ago to enquire about the availability of their 19-year-old midfielder. The Reds are understood to have been planning to go for the England international next preseason but appear to have wanted to secure their man a year earlier.
But it is claimed that the desire to capture Bellingham now has been put to the test as Dortmund have told Liverpool that he is untouchable.
Bellingham is understood to have agreed to Liverpool's proposal to sign him in the short run but how long it will takes the Reds to convince Dortmund to sell are more of concern.
