Sky Sports have confirmed that Lille midfielder Renato Sanches is close to signing for a new club amid links with Liverpool
The news media for Italy (Sky Italian) says AC Milan are closing in on a deal to sign the midfielder formerly linked with the Reds.
Sanches was heavily linked with Liverpool last summer before and after the European Championships, until he suffered a serious injury that ruled him out for several months.
Now, according to this fresh report, Milan are close to agreeing a deal worth £8.5m for the Portugal international.
It has been claimed, though, that there are still a few details with Sanches' agent, Jorge Mendes, left to sort out before a move can be confirmed.
