A report reaching us have underlined that an offer on table by the Nou Camp club to test Liverpool's resolve is a tempting one. It say the La Liga big wigs have a contract offer that can convince Alexander-Arnold to rethink his Anfield dream. One that the youngster might find difficult to turn down, that could foster a backdown for the English full-back who has in oftentimes vowed to remain at Anfield to clinch the club's captaincy.
A €150 million fee was also mentioned. Barcelona would be ready to splash out that big if they come for the defender in January.
Trent Alexander-Arnold currently has a contract with Liverpool that runs until the summer of 2025. The 23-year-old is valued at €80 million by the transfer market web.
