Liverpool prepare January move for Brazilian

Liverpool may be targeting more midfield players before next summer according to reports

Joao Gomes is Liverpool and Manchester United target 

A Brazilian journalist Julio Miguel  has claimed Liverpool is preparing a proposal for Flamengo's defensive midfielder Joao Gomes .

Jurgen Klopp hopes to add more depth and strength to a weak midfield if loanee Arthur Melo is unable to succeed as a cover ahead  of next summer. Gomes can assist with this task if he joins the team. 

Manchester United alongside Liverpool and Atletico Madrid have been keeping tabs on Gomes for a long time.
