The Hollywood and WWE superstar had to tell reporters if he's a soccer fan or not in an interview with talkSPORT.
Before becoming an 8x WWE Champion, Johnson (The Rock) was known to be an NFL football player and an avid sports fan. Furthermore, many of his Sports Entertainment accomplishments are documented.
However it's unknown if the award winning actor is a fan of a globally revered soccer sport.
Asked which team he supports, Dwayne Johnson The Rock queried: “A soccer team?”, before he then continued: “Yeah. You know the one, you know the one. The Pride of Cheshire."
The host replied: "You mean Liverpool?"
“Yeah, (Liverpool fan?) Yes”, he insisted.
Verdict
Let's spell out if Dwayne Johnson was actually sure of the club he admitted his support for.
His responses still holds some flavour of doubt to whether he actually follow soccer marches.
Here's why:
During the interview Dwayne Johnson claimed that he supports Liverpool, but was very coy when asked about the club's result against Manchester City that happened during the weekend.
Another hint to look at is the fact that he described Liverpool as ‘the pride of Cheshire’ but the Reds actually are in Merseyside and not from Cheshire.
Most fans of Liverpool FC would find Rocky's answer an arguable one where some rival fans wouldn't agree more that the American was actually certain of his response.
