Dietmar Hamann has claimed Lionel Messi " is not what Liverpool need"
There have been speculation surrounding the Argentine's future at PSG lately and he's being touted with a to the Premier League by some media.
"I don't know if Lionel Messi wants to move to the Premier League," Hamann told Boyle Sports. "He had to leave Barcelona and now seems happy at Paris Saint-Germain, at his age I'm not sure he can get into the Premier League after the World Cup.
"I always like to see the best players in the best leagues, but Lionel Messi is not what Liverpool need right now."
The Athletic reported on Monday that MLS club Inter Miami are "increasingly confident" of signing the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires next summer.
