Liverpool have announced a new agreement with American technology company Google. This will allow supporters to have a better experience following both the men's and women's teams using AI-powered technology.

Google Pixel will collaborate with both Jurgen Klopp and Matt Beard's side in the creation of exclusive content that has the purpose of inspiring more girls and women to participate in the game. The first initiative will have Liverpool's women's side as the subject of exclusive behind-the-scene coverage in advance of their upcoming Women's Super League campaign.

During the announcement, which will be centered around Google's AI-powered cameras that will enhance the experience of fans who watch at home, Liverpool's commercial director, Ben Latty, said of the deal: "We are incredibly  proud to be announcing this partnership between Liverpool FC and Google Pixel.

"At Liverpool, it is important to us that we are not only partnering with the biggest and most exciting brands, but that the brands we are partnering with allow us to offer something of real value to our supporters.

"We are looking forward to seeing how over the course of the partnership we will work together to give fans of our men's and women's teams exclusive content and experiences that will bring them closer to the game they love."

Meanwhile, Google described their joy at collaborating with the Reds, they hope this will continue to promote football as a viable and equitable sport for all participants.

"We are thrilled to partner with Liverpool Football Club," said Google UK's vice president of marketing, Eileen Mannion.

"As their official mobile phone partner, Pixel will use its legendary AI-powered camera to enhance the matchday experience, bringing fans closer to the game they love and helping them capture all the emotions of football.

"We will also work with Liverpool to help close the visibility gap for the women's game, delivering on our commitment of making football more accessible and equitable for all fans."

Liverpool will back Pixel FC with exclusive access, training, equipment and investment as part of this deal.
