Jordan Henderson and Fabinho have already switched to the Saudi Pro League this summer, with the Brazilian heading to Al-Ittihad for £40m and the England midfielder to Al-Ettifaw for £12m. Roberto Firmino has also made the switch to Saudi, joining Al-Ahli after his contract at Anfield came to an end at the climax of last season. Mohamed Salah has also been linked with the biggest move of the lot, but his agent rubbished suggestions he was going to swap Merseyside for Saudi Arabia this summer. However, Thiago is the latest Reds star to have the opportunity to take the riches on offer in the Saudi Pro League, with L’Equipe reporting that Al-Ahli have bid €12million (£10.4m) for the Spain international. The 32-year-old has just one year left to run on his contract with Liverpool, but after such a significant exodus this summer they are unlikely to be happy for him to leave during this transfer window. James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita all left on free transfers earlier this summer leaving significant holes to be filled in the squad. Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have arrived but Jurgen Klopp needs to sign at least one more midfielder before the transfer window closes. The Reds have had bids turned down for Southampton’s Romeo Lavia and have reportedly made a big offer for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo, but are yet to secure the holding midfielder they are looking for.
