Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp speaks out on Man United: This surprised me

The Liverpool manager believes his side did well last season in dealing with the hostile atmosphere at their arch-rivals.
And Klopp will be hoping the Reds can use the experience when they take on Jose Mourinho’s side on January 15.
“Ah, this is better. Manchester United! That goal was outstanding,” the German boss told the Liverpool Echo.

“It was really like pushing a button to switch off the noise.
“We played an outstanding game against Manchester United at home. Really good. It was 2-0 but we should have scored more. We were the better team, all that stuff.
“Going there, was a real experience. Before you have it, you can't imagine how it is.
“Unfortunately, I have to say, Old Trafford is not the worst place to play football. It was pretty loud too. I was like ‘oh, okay.’”
Liverpool have been in good form this season and find themselves just six points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea as we approach the halfway point.
The Reds return to action when they take on title rivals Manchester City on New Year’s Eve.
