Philippe Coutinho, 24, this week tied his future to the Reds, penned a £150,000-a-week deal with the club which makes him the highest-paid player in the club’s history and is set to keep him at Anfield until 2022.

The charm offensive from Barcelona has already begun, with Cules past and present declaring their desire to see Coutinho line up for the Blaugrana in what has been dubbed 'Objetivo Coutinho'.
But the Brazil star - who has emerged as first choice for the Selecao under Tite in the last 12 months too - says that now is the right time to sign up at Anfield and that he’s aiming for titles.
"Wait to sign? No. No. Now is the right time,” insisted Coutinho,  speaking to the Daily Mail.  "I understand what Liverpool means. We can say Dalglish, Rush, Hansen, Souness, Suarez, Gerrard. I've been here quite a few years already, it's not like I am new. I understand.
"To have signed a new contract at this club, my goal is to be thought of one day in the same way as these players. They are legends. You define the success of a player by his loyalty or his titles. Or both. In order to be part of this group, I have so much to do. "I want to win titles. Five years is my new contract - it gives me that opportunity."
With regards a potential move to Spain - with speculation still not going anywhere despite his new deal with Jurgen Klopp's side - Coutinho insists he has little interest.
"This club, Liverpool, it has a plan. To be back on the top and that's what I believe in. I want to be part of that."
