Manchester United have reportedly join Liverpool in the race to land Aaron Ramsey
Liverpool will now be subjected to a transfer tug of war with Manchester United over Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to reports.
Ramsey contract with the Gunners come to its end next summer, and the 27-year-old look set to quit the Emirates in January as he is resisting a new contract.
Arsenal were hopeful of tying Ramsey down to a new deal before the agency representing the player confirmed he will be leaving.
Liverpool were already linked with the midfielder, who may decide to follow his friend and former team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Anfield.
But it is now claimed that Manchester United are also keen on signing the midfielder, according to the Evening Standard, Ramsey will prefer a move to remain in the Premier League.
