But such plans by both clubs to sign Zielinski who has been in superb form for Carlo Ancelotti’s side this season is near its crumble as the midfielder has opened talks for a new deal.

The Polish midfielder came on as a late sub for Carlo Ancelotti’s side when they beat Liverpool 1-0 in the Champions League last month so Klopp has seen a clearer picture of him.

Zielinski penning a new long-term contract with Napoli would double the buy out clause that he has in his current contract, causing admirers to pay huge.
