Lyon president has confirmed Fekir is set to close doors on admirers with a new contract extension

The Lyon captain almost signed for Liverpool last season before the transfer broke down at the medical stage.
Fekir's contract with Lyon runs until the end of next season and the club president Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed that the attacking midfielder is in talks over a new long-term deal to remain at the Olympic stadium.
Aulas said: "We have made some advances in Fekir’s contract extension, we are discussing it and soon I'll have to see Nabil, we aren't in the final stages but in any case we have advanced."
Chelsea are also inline for the midfielder, having their approach in January turned down by the Lyonnais while the Reds are expected to reignite their interest as they continue to search for creativity behind their front three.
