The Premier League clash against Neil Warnock’s side which was scheduled for April 6 or 7  has now been re-arranged after the Cityzens beat Swansea at the weekend in the FA Cup last-eight.

They now tie up Brighton in the last-four on that weekend at Wembley, and the league game against the Bluebirds is moved to April 3.

According to the Daily Star, Guardiola is unhappy with the decision, believing it could hand Liverpool the edge in the Premier League title race.

Guardiola's Manchester City appeared favourites to win all of the three competitions they are currently still in and the Spaniard is now edging to become the first manager in an English club to win four major trophies in a single season, after already leading his side to be Carabao winners.

An historic quadruple would be great for Guardiola and his side but the Spaniard has played down talks over such achievement when quizzed about it.

The City boss said: "Ask me at the end of April [about quadruple] and I will answer you. I want to congratulate the players and staff for being here at this stage. I am already satisfied

"I know for the people it will be a big failure if we don't win three or four titles, so I’m sorry!

"Now we are going to fight every game after the international break."
