Sadio Mane believes Naby Keita has the potential to become one of Liverpool's best
The Guinea international was expected by fans to replicate his form when he arrived at Liverpool but has thus far been subjected to repeated injury crisis which has stunned his growth with the Merseyside club.
Mane played with the midfielder at RB Salzburg earlier in his career and.the Senegalese has told Liverpool fans he knows just how good Keita will be given time at Anfield.
“Since our days at Salzburg, he was always a good man, and a good friend to me," he told Complex.
"He’s such a great player, so I think everyone will see once he gets over his injures how important he will be for this club.I have no doubts about him!"
Keita is currently nursing a groin injury which he picked up last month before the UEFA Super Cup. But the 24-year-old could be back this weekend to face Newcastle.
