Andy Robertson provide injury update ahead of Tottenham clash

Andrew Robertson has revealed the severity of his injury sustained on Wednesday night in Belgium

Lfc rumour
The Liverpool left-back suffered a knock and was substituted an hour into their Champions League clash with KRC Genk on Wednesday evening.

Boss Jurgen Klopp already had Trent Alexander-Arnold ruled out of the clash with a viral illness, while Joel Matip was left out due to a recurrence of the injury that kept him out of two matches earlier this month.

James Milner was forced to take Robertson's role after the Scotland captain was replaced by Joe Gomez with Liverpool leading 2-0.

However, the 25-year old has now prompted Red fans he will be back early to action and cooled down any fear of him returning late as Liverpool are set to face Tottenham Hotspur next week.

After a full time 4-1 victory over the Smurfs, The Athletic's James Pearce asked Robertson whether he will be fit for the Tottenham contest, to which the defender replied: "All good."

Robertson positive response will be a sigh of relief for Jurgen Klopp who's side is currently lacking a cover left-back.
