World No.1 goalkeeper Alisson Becker became the first to receive an inaugural Yachine trophy

The Liverpool goalkeeper lifted the Yachine Trophy at the Ballon d'Or ceremony on Monday evening.

The achievement at the awards night complete a memorable year for the 27-year-old who won the Champions League during his first campaign in England as well as the Copa America with Brazil.

Alisson has so far won individual awards in the shape of the UEFA Goalkeeper of the Season and The Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper and will now add the Yachine Trophy to his collection and becomes the first man to collect the newly introduced accolade.

The Brazilian ranked seventh in the overall Ballon d'Or rankings behind Liverpool team-mate Mohamed Salah in fifth.

Gini Wijnaldum, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino were in the top 30 while Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk made the top 4, coming fourth and second respectively.
