Sadio Mane makes move to Spain on transfer deadline day

The Liverpool forward missed the Reds' 2-0 victory at West Ham on Wednesday with injury problem

After being left out for the London trip, Mane  now appeared to have made a surprise move to Real Mallorca on transfer deadline day.

However, the move to Spain was to further his recovery from injury other than a shocking transfer business.

Mane is currently sidelined with a muscle injury he picked up in Livepool's 2-1 victory at Wolves a week ago.

And on Friday, the winger uploaded a video of himself at Real Mallorca's gym along with players of the Spanish club.

In the video Mane was heard singing the Liverpool fans' 'Si Senor' song for Roberto Firmino.

Liverpool have had a good relationship with Mallorca and the Spanish club have allowed Reds' players to use their facilities in the past as they recover from injuries.

In June last year Adam Lallana posted to Instagram thanking the Spain club for allowing him to use their training base while he was on holiday, whilst also congratulating them on their promotion to the La Liga.

Klopp had discussed Mane's injury ahead of West Ham clash, and said he expects the Senegal international to be back after their Saturday fixture at home to Southampton.
