Nathan Clyne hit with fine for violating road traffic rules

Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne has been fined £1,000 for overspeeding on major city road

The right-back was driving in a down West Derby Road a Tuebrook when police spotted him doing 52mph in the 30mph route.

For the last five months, Clyne has been recuperating at Liverpool's Melwood training ground.



The ex Southampton man was on the verge of sealing a transfer from Anfield in the summer, but suffered a serious cruciate knee ligament injury in pre-season.

Clyne faced the Liverpool magistrate Court last week after he was allegedly to be violating driving rules where he was fined £1,000 and handed six penalty points.
