Liverpool fans worried over Dejan Lovren interview with Sky Sports

The Reds have had cases in the past where they had come under defeat whenever the Croat takes an interview

Liverpool fans are worried Dejan Lovren interview with Sky Sports may have prompt that the Reds are heading to their first Premier League defeat this Weekend.

Such menace had happened in the past where Croatia lost at the World Cup final and another saw Liverpool losing a crucial Premier League fixture against Manchester City last season.

Speaking in a brief interview with Sky Sport, Dejan Lovren talked about Liverpool's chances to put in consistent productive campaigns every season to emulate Pep Guardiola's great Barcelona team.

The Reds won the Champions League last season, and added the UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup on the trot to make it three international championships won in a single year in 2019.

A first league title since 1990 is also inevitable this season, with Jurgen Klopp's side having dropped just two points so far, and they are also still in contention for the Champions League and FA Cup.

And speaking to Sky Sports, Lovren admitted the Reds are in their very best and should keep on the pace to bag as many trophy like Barcelona did in a four-year phenomenal campaign under Pep Guardiola.

"I've been there from the beginning with Jurgen and it took quite a while, two or three years to build everything up," said the Liverpool defender.

"Let's say, we clicked this year- maybe even last year- but we missed out by one point. Now we understand each other, what we need, what we want. And I especially want, that we are remembered maybe like the Barcelona team that won in four years (something like) 20 trophies."

But some Liverpool fans have feared it is the first time they have spotted Lovren speaking to a national press this term which could mean the Reds are set to witness their first Premier League defeat against Norwich on Saturday.

One fan wrote on twitter: "Great, Lovren done an interview, first loss if the season incoming."

Another added:  "Whenever he speaks his team losses the next game....into the world cup final..facing city from now scared."

A third fan said: "Ffs lovren curse strikes again, we’re loosing to Norwich this weekend."
