Ed Woodward is looking at replacing Ole Gunnar  Solskjaer with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard

The Manchester United CEO has earlier warned that he could go miles showing Ole the exit door at Manchester United after he termed the move a hard one to make.

Ahead of the weekend fixtures where the Red Devils travel to St. James Park to face Newcastle, a leading Manchester United source [undisclosed] disclosed that Woodward has been in contact with former Liverpool midfielder and Rangers boss Steven Gerrard hoping he gets his service if Ole and the boys continue to disappoint.

Steven Gerrard has stand out over the years at Rangers mounting Premiership challenge on Scottish league undisputed leaders Celtic.

However, one could still label it a laughable decision.

After a whole playing career at Liverpool, it doesn't seems Gerrard is the right man for the Mancs.
